Town of Westbrook, CT
(WESTBROOK, CT) - Due to shipping and warehouse delays outside of the State of Connecticut's control, the anticipated shipment of COVID-19 at-home rapid tests are currently delayed from arriving in Connecticut. As a result, the Town of Westbrook kit distribution is cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
Residents are advised not to go to the Town Hall distribution site today or Friday. A future distribution date and location will be announced when the town receives the shipment from the State of Connecticut.
Updates will be posted here, on the Town of Westbrook website and the town Facebook site.
The Town of Westbrook continues to stress that everyone who is eligible for vaccination get the COVID-19 vaccine, and those who are eligible for a booster shot get the booster.
Wearing a mask over the nose and mouth, washing hands and using hand sanitizer, avoiding large crowds, and staying home if you are not feeling well or are under quarantine or isolation is key to slowing the spread.
