Westbrook Conducting Survey
About Housing Strategies
WESTBROOK – For the next few weeks, the Town of Westbrook will be conducting an on-line survey of about people’s perception of housing needs in Westbrook and possible housing strategies for the future. The survey is part of the process of preparing an Affordable Housing Plan as required by State law.
An Affordable Housing Plan Subcommittee comprised of members of local boards and agencies has started the process of preparing the plan. The Subcommittee believes that community input is an important part of the overall process of preparing the plan and intends to consider the survey results as part of the process of preparing the plan.
The survey should only take 5-7 minutes to complete and will help the Town of Westbrook plan for the future of the community for decades to come. The survey will be open for responses through Sunday July 11.
Westbrook residents are encouraged to participate in the survey to help ensure that we understand community goals. “This survey is an important exercise which will help Westbrook understand housing needs and consider alternative housing strategies,” said Marilyn Ozols, Chair of the Subcommittee.
