Westbrook's Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting event will take place on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
The parade will step off at 4:00pm with festivities on the Town Green following the parade.
There will be musical performances, an opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a S'mores bonfire,
crafts, ice sculpting, refreshments, horse-drawn carriage rides around the green, and lots of good cheer. Everything is free.
The parade leaves South Main Street towards the Town Green. Motorists can expect temporary road closures at:
- Boston Post Rd / Old Clinton Rd / South Main St Intersection
- Boston Post Rd / Essex Rd (North side of the Town Green)
- Boston Post Rd / Essex Rd (Walgreen Traffic Light)
Motorists are recommended to use caution in the area of the Town Green after the parade. Roads will reopen but heavy pedestrian traffic is expected throughout the event.
