Revaluation Update
The Town of Westbrook, CT. has hired Vision Appraisal Technology to complete its state-mandated revaluation program. The reassessment project will establish market value as of October 1st, 2011 and will be reflected in the tax bills issued in the summer of 2012.
Vision Employees will begin their final field review on Thursday, September 22, 2011.They will be driving around reviewing every residential and commercial property.

2010 Mill Rate is 16.96
2009 Mill Rate is 17.25
2008 Mill Rate is 16.30
A mill is equal to $1.00 of tax for each $1,000 of assessment. To calculate the property tax, multiply the assessment of the property by the mill rate and divide by 1,000. For example, a property with a assessed value of $50,000 located in a municipality with a mill rate of 20 mills would have a property tax bill of $1,000 per year.
