THE AMERICAN LEGION

ANDERSON-HOXIE POST 103, INC

P.O. BOX 795

WESTBROOK, CT  06498

As in the past on Memorial Day, the various organizations of our community have joined together to honor and remember our Veterans of both civilian and military service. It is again time for us to join in this remembrance.

The Parade will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., sharp and, as in the past, in the case of rain, there will be a shorter route. The Parade will not be cancelled.

PLEASE COME OUT AND HONOR ALL OUR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN

The Westbrook Memorial Day Parade will step off Monday at 10:00 am and make several stops to honor Westbrook residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country!

The Parade will step off from behind the Firehouse, with the first stop at the South Main Street Cemetery; proceed the length of Wesley Avenue and stop at Clark’s Bridge on Old Clinton Road.

The next stop will be at the Old Burying Ground on Old Clinton Road and then the Parade will proceed clockwise around the Green and stop at the Veteran’s Monument on the southeast corner of the Green for a ceremony by the Westbrook High School Choir and words from our First Selectman and others.

The Parade will then stop in front of the Westbrook Fire Department on South Main Street to honor fallen firefighters, and will conclude immediately following that service.

Hope you can attend to show your support!!
