The Westbrook Health Department strongly encourages the community to get vaccinated, get boosted, wear a tight-fitting mask while in indoor public settings, and stay home if you’re feeling sick, even with the slightest symptoms.

The State of Connecticut is currently experiencing the highest positivity rate since widespread testing began.

Vaccinations offer the best protection against severe illness cause by COVID-19.

As of December 29th, 2021, there are 1,113 patients hospitalized in Connecticut with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and of those, 823 (73.9%) are not fully vaccinated.

The Westbrook Health Department is grateful that over 84% of the Westbrook population is vaccinated, but there is still work to do.

Please get vaccinated and boosted to protect yourself and the community.
